ISOLATION UNIT

“Isolation unit” can mean a lot of things. I chose to create a single space designed for a writer or student. A quiet, yet dynamic and subtle environment to give the inhabitant focus and concentration, yet inspiring and recreational. The room is divided in two levels, one for relaxation and breaks and one for working. They meet in the stairs between them which also gives the inhabitant additional options of seating. The fireplace gives necessary maintenance work and gives a dynamic light setting and comfortable sound settings.
